PCR test booking refund

Hi all,
I booked PCR testing at a local clinic year ago, 2 tests £125 each. As it was still middle of the pandemic the flight got cancelled and I couldn’t get a refund. Instead they offered to get a voucher and I can use it within 12 months. I have only used one of the bookings and still a voucher for second booking. The voucher is about to expire and I don’t need to use it anymore? Can I still request a refund? What are my rights?

The clinic refuses to refund, said I can use against any service they provide. Also, my voucher amount is reduced as the cost of pcr testing is reduced to £79 at this clinic. They offer very limited services, and whatever I asked for they refused telling me that they don’t offer the service anymore or the cosmetic treatment is only for specific skin type and etc. basically, I cannot use the voucher against anything.
What are my rights here? Do I just gift £125 to them? Is it right reducing the amount of the voucher from £125 to £79 when I clearly paid £125?
Can I get a refund from my bank? Paid by debit card.
Thank you!

I don't think the bank will provide a refund. The clinic is still able to provide the service you require, so I suspect the best you can expect is an extension on the time the voucher can be used.

Having accepted a voucher, I think you're stuck. The value is probably irrelevant - you paid for two tests and the voucher enables you to buy two tests.1

Thanks everyone. Mentally prepped to loose £125, but wanted to check here what else can be done. They won’t extend the voucher as I’ve already checked with them.0

Your cooling off period is well past and clearly its not the testing centre's fault your flights got cancelled. As such you have no statutory rights and it comes down to their T&Cs.
On the plus side, its £125 and not £250 which you potentially could have lost had they stuck to their guns that they can provide the test bought and its not their fault you couldn't use them rather than issuing the voucher.
Insurance may have covered it but £125 is likely below the excess1 -
