Hi - I am currently on a fix with British Gas till 30 June 2022. Should I contact them now to try and get a new fix before the 1 April?

What are your current rates and what have you been offered?

The reality though, is almost certainly no, any fix is likely to be considerably higher than the current SVR which is what you will go onto when your current deal ends.

My current rate is the Exclusive Energy June 2022v2.
Tariff is:-
Gas - Unit rate 3.225p per kWH
Gas - Standing charge 17.406p per day
Electric - Unit rate 17.171p per kWh
Electric - Standing charge 22.936p per day
