Hi,you will need to upload to something like postimage first, then using the direct link, paste in wee postcard icon,

That works, or just hit "Choose files" button from the postcard dropdown if the photo is on the device you are posting on and select it.1

The simplest method is to Drag and Drop it.
Find the file, left click and hold, drag it to the post and release the left mouse button.
You do not need to use a host.
