Battery storage

If you are fortunate enough to have solar with battery backup, don't forget that at this time with costs rising almost daily, many solar inverters allow you to charge these batteries from the mains supply.
If you couple that with an economy 7 or economy 10 price, you could save yourself a fair few quid over the coming year.
Charge up during the night and keep running until sundown on batteries.

For example, right now my night rate is 14p/kWh.  The standard variable is going up to 29p/kWh for my supplier very shortly.

I have about 10kw of storage, which is enough to see me through 24 hours.

Just something to consider.
