Is this usual ~ 22 Insurance Quotation Searches on my Experian Fraud Report?

I've received an email from Experian saying there's been 22 Insurance Quotation searches. Is this normal? I certainly haven't done any quotations and can't see why all these companies would check my report.

TIA

    It's not abnormal.

You'll have done some searches on comparison sites in the past, most likely around this time last year.

PS It's not a Fraud Report. It's a credit file.

Thank you. I was very surprised to see so many!

It is a fraud report, at least that's what it says in the email and on the Experian page. My details were stolen from a company I used to work for and they have paid for an Experian account to check for fraudulent use of my details for 12 months.
