I keep musing about WGAC but right now the storage thing IS an issue for us. As and when we move it might not be though - we'll see! I'm also struggling slightly with balancing whether it's better for me to simply buy the stuff in store when I'm going in anyway, where it's al been delivered on one giant delivery which would have been made anyway, or whether a more ethical/sustainable product which incurs a specific delivery to me is better. The jury is out!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I keep my passwords in a notebook. In code & not a simple one either & that isn't written down. There is no way you can keep all those passwords in your head & keeping them in code & hidden at home is to me safer than trusting one of those apps. Even the account name is in code. I'm not sure what will happen when demetia has its way, but by then I won't care anyway.

I don't think writing them down, in code or otherwise, would work for me I'm afraid Badmemory - there are several hundred passwords in my vault and they are all different, all conform to the length and special character requirements needed to be secure and if I change them it saves the change for me. Given that many accounts, it's a risk I'm prepared to take (and it doesn't involve my banking, which is key!). I appreciate it's not for everyone though.
Tax bill paid and trial transfer to BS account for business savings done - money hasn't arrived yet, but then it always takes longer with a BS savings account.
Have been to the allotment, picked some more sprouts, had a tidy and brought some mouldy gloves home (they were also fairly knackered before the mould, so I'm not too worried). Have also cleared a project off of my Cambridge to-do list (at least for now) and done a platform job too. Given I've got meetings and by the sound of it more projects kicking off tomorrow with Cambridge, it's going to be a good week workwise for them.
Going to stop now and do some flying... bathroom here I come (I am not sounding as enthusiastic as this might appear!)Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

I quite like the thought of you getting into a little two seater plane to do some flying 🤣
In reality - loving how close your allotment is for you, you really can make it a natural part of your day. When I lived in the city by the sea, I had an allotment that was 40 minutes walk away, and it was an expedition, I couldn't hack it.2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -

Morning all,
Agreed about the individual wrappers Jess, definitely not about hygiene as they suggest!
Well it's another gloomy morning here, barely getting light. We were up early as Argoose decided we'd be the first delivery of the day, so our chest of drawers arrived at 7.20 this morning. So early, in fact, that Mr MV was the one dressed and answering the door, rather than me. In my defence I had a late night with Olio and then slept absolutely awfully - maybe 4 hours disturbed sleep, if that, in total. Today is going to be tough. (At least with the delivery having arrived, I can have a nap later if needed (not sure when between Olio collections, work meetings, portioning up and freezing chicken, and Sis and Niece popping up later!)).
Olio collection was great, including two roasted whole chickens which I kept for the cats/Mr MV, lunch for Mr MV today (and a so-far unclaimed broken in three places baguette that may well form part of my lunch), some pancakes, pastries, crisps and kiwi fruit. It has been very popular too - I'll have shared with at least 11 people, if not more (I lose track after a while!). I have also received three fresh eggs from one of my collectors who had a couple of bits of dubious looking veg for his birds!
Was paid by Cambridge overnight, so have paid a chunk off of my Barclaycard (in advance of the statement), transferred some to tax savings and made an £8.95 TT to my savings account (which contributes to the challenge). I've also opened a new savings account to sit my tax savings in before they get transferred to PBs once a month - this is just for the small amounts put aside from my Cambridge pay, but the account it sat in had dropped to 0%, so I opened another one with Nationwide at 2.25% for it. Very simple and should earn a few pence, if nothing else.
Business savings have all now been transferred too, so they're earning 2% now (again, not going to be earth-shattering amounts, but why keep it where it's not earning anything. This is rapidly becoming my issue with Starling, where I have all my lovely savings pots - they aren't earning me anything to speak of, and actually it builds up to be quite a bit in some of those pots... Need to think more on this.
On the challenge front, I listed something on FB marketplace for £3 and have had some interest - will see if they come back to me. Most of the listing is going to happen at the weekend though, although I'm already wondering when! We're at the football on Sunday (12.30 kick off, so taking up most of the day) and have planned to visit the in-laws for various jobs on Saturday. Out Friday night and Saturday for belated birthday celebrations too! I will fit it in somewhere though!
MS things:
* Free cat chicken and other food and eggs from an Olioer!
* PA surveys
* £2 Y Live survey
* 1P surveys
* HW and clicks - have reached payout on one HW again, but leaving it for now
Gratitudes:
* Cambridge work - it's keeping me busy and earning (even if I don't love all of it)
* Friendly Olioers - so many of them!
* Delivery came early
Have a good day all!

On passwords, I have a rough split into "Very important" - banking and stuff like that, where there are usually numbers involved too. I use biometric logins for a lot of things now which works well for me. Then "Important, but less so" - so other stuff that includes a lot of very personal info, and/or the possibility of some form of material loss if I got hacked, and finally the sort of stuff where there is little to lose - and the login is really just a formality to get you to customer deals etc. that split informs the sort of password I am likely to use, and also whether there is multi layer authentication involved in a lot of cases - and that helps. I wouldn't fancy the idea of trying to in any way remember 100s of them though!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I don't think in reality anyone could really expect us to remember all our passwords, although I can still remember my work ones & I retired over 10 years ago. I've used my code for over 50 years now & no-one including the first husband who caused me to develop it has ever broken it. I do suspect my DS has the brains to solve it but not the will to - not that it would matter if he did. He'll find out when I pop my clogs anyway.

I can't remember passwords either.
Belated Happy Birthday.
