OVO Tariffs Query

I've just moved house and our supplier is OVO Energy for both gas and electricity (South region). The tariffs for their standard variable rate plan (Simpler Energy) as of April 1st seem strange and go well above the price cap.
Are these correct? I have just spent the past 30 minutes in tears as the gas is way more than I expected and higher than the fixed rate they quoted me. I called them and they confirmed the rates and then couldn't access the fixed price tariffs to check the rates either and said there was a problem with my gas account and it wouldn't be fixed till Friday. I am hoping and praying that there has been a mistake.

They've messed up and have quoted you the electricity rates for gas.
You'll find a table of capped variable rates for each region at the link in my signature.

Gas rates are clearly wrong, but the electricity rates are correct for the Southern region.

It looks like they've repeated the electricity price as the gas price. Should be something like 27.2 per day and 7.48 per kWh, depending on which region you are in.

Thanks guys. When the email came through and after I called them, the irrational part of my brain kicked in. I couldn't understand why there was a huge discrepancy with the price cap and was in a panic. You have reassured me.
