Replacing Slats in Roller Garage Door

Hi all

I have recently had a roller garage door fitted. I have soon realised that the aluminium slats are fragile, as my rubbish bin lid has dented it.

I've been told that a cost-effective way would be to swap the 5 dented slats with the ones that are hidden in the box.

Has anyone done this before? How difficult is it to do?

Thanks

I would be asking the installers who supplied and fitted the original door ,they will tell you if a DIY job and if not the cost to do the job.
