How do I cancel a secondary credit card?

I have a Barclaycard and my ex-husband has a secondary card. I want to cancel his card, just in case.
The direct debits to pay the balance are coming from his account and I want them to come from mine instead.
My problem is that when I try to do anything through the app, including trying the chat, I just get directed to a page to change the direct debit details, but am not getting the option to change the account as the direct debit is due in a few days. I have set a reminder for after the next DD is taken so hopefully it will let me do it then.
How do I cancel his card without closing the whole account? He hasn't been using it but I don't want him to have the opportunity to. I have put every possible combo of phrases in to the chat help desk, but keep getting irrelevant suggestions. I have tried to speak to a human, but haven't had any success there either.

As stated on BarclayCards website you have to contact customer services team, so you will have to call them and speak to an advisor.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:1

Thank you. I will try to speak direct to customer services rather than the route I had been trying.
|I appreciate you taking the time to do this. I think I was just searching for the wrong thing.0
