Adding another home to my energy account

Options
I have split with my wife and i will be moving to a new home. I will continue paying her gas/electric/phone and internet but i will also need my own. Can i simply add the new address to my current bill? Everything is in my name. I am on a two year fixed rate with my gas/electric company and i want to avoid being put on a new tariff.

No, sadly. You will need a separate account with the suppliers at the second property.

No - the two properties are separate and will be billed separately.

When you move into your new property you will need to contact the incumbent supplier to set up an account with them and provide opening meter readings. After that you will then be free to switch to the same supplier you currently use for your existing property if you wish, or stay with the incumbent supplier if you'd prefer. If you switch, it's very unlikely that the fixed tariff will be available for your second property and you're best choice will likely be to stick with the SVT they offer.
