Loft insulation help

Evening all,
So finally got round to peering into the loft, it looks like !!!!!! all insulation so will top it up in due course.
The problem I have is, the house has a 3x3m extension roughly, that is insulated between the rafters, so we have a loft that has 75% area ish normal insulation on the floor and around 25% with insulation between rafters (nothing on floor). This explains why this bedroom is bloody freezing all the time.
What is the best way to sort this, clearly I need to have it all one way, so will need insulation on the floor of the entire loft but the questions is do I remove the rafters insulation, could it cause moisture issues?.
Kind regards
James

What sort of insulation is it between the rafters? What's on the top of the rafters under the tiles?0

It looks like Kings span between rafters and a membrane under tiles, no idea what kind.0

Typically, insulation between rafters is needed only for loft conversions and is pretty useless otherwise as the loft space has to be well ventilated through the eaves.Extra insulation of the floor/ceiling will make the loft colder and, theoretically, can create extra moisture if warm air penetrates to the loft (through the hatch and light fittings) and it isn't ventilated well enough. However, keeping the existing insulation between the rafters is unlikely to do any harm.

Thank you very much. I want sure if it needed moving or was actually OK to leave in place.0
