Thankyou MWT, so my present (svr) monthly is £76.. plus 54% is approx £117 come April if I do nothing and then a minimum of 20% more come October taking it approx to £140. The fix on my Octopus account open to me for 12m is £138. Makes your head fry thinking about it?0

Makes your head fry thinking about it?I would stop using the 54% figure and calculate using your best estimate on your annual use and the actual tariff rates.Ideally, split your best estimate on your use into the two 6 months periods from 1st April and then calculate again as the first 6 months from April are probably your lowest part of the year for energy use...
