Looking for a few days away where hubby can indulge in a bit of carp fishing that has caravan/cottage accommodation where I can chill with a good book. I know 'Life in the fast lane' eh!
Ive googled but only found a couple advertised but they are the bring your own tourer kind of sites.

Does it need to be carp? Kilnsey trout fishing is about a mile from Long Ashes site and other accommodation in the area..
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Thank you both for the replies. Apparently it does have to be carp. why? I don't know.
We looked at yorklakesidelodges , thank you for the link, but someone he knows tried there and says the water is terrible. Must be fishing speak for 'not a good place to fish'.

Brafferton Fishery between Thirsk and York is supposed to be good. It's mostly carp amongst others such as perch. No on-site accommodation I don't think, but will be plenty of airbnbs around there.0
