octopus undercharging

I was an avro customer till octopus took over. I carried on paying my dd to Avro until I got a final confirmation the takeover was complete. my octopus account is showing I owe Avro £179, however this is not the biggest issue. I continued paying a monthly dd of £240 to octopus and just let things carry on. I do a meter reading every month and put that in. I got concerned when I had my most recent bill as I thought it was a little low and I was loads in credit on my account.(never been in credit in winter!) anyway I looked at my bills and it appears they have been errors on the account. I have been charged £10 for 6 weeks worth of gas instead of £100. looking at my previous bill which was from the takeover in october to January they charged me £29 for gas instead of £290!!! I have queried this as I don't want them coming back to me in a few months time with an enormous bill that I owe, however this is not my fault and a major error on their part. Where do I stand with complaining big time about this? I am not a happy customer

ok so I have had someone look at my account and they have said it is correct. I will keep this for future reference but if someone could tell me if I am correct I would be grateful.....

Are you sure that you have a meter that records gas volume in cubic feet? If you have, then the billing is correct. If your meter records your gas used in cubic metres then you have a billing problem: 84 units equates to c.943kWh.1

... or the units should be 100ft3 not 1ft3, either way something is very wrong with this.A photo of the meter will give the answer...0
