Internet Explorer problems

Hi,

I began to have issues with loss of connection, no connection or generally just some sites I couldn't get access to.

My AVG virus & Spyware up to date & noproblems have been noted. I use Comodo firewall & again seems to be fine.

I noticed alot of pop up from Comodo last night saying that IE was trying to connect to net via xxxx - can't remember the name of the site. I restored my PC back 2 days but this didn't help either. The IE diagnostics said I had no issues.

Then eventually last night I lost everything - no net access at all. Turn off my PC in disgust hoping it was maybe just a blip with the telephone exchange or something.

It was the same again today. I eventually removed loads of music from my PC (no doubt I'll regret that) & also removed the latest IE security update which was installed on 12/12/07.

Since then I have been able to go back online. But surely I need these security updates?

It seems to be fine just now but I'm noticing alot of popup from Comodo asking for permission to use IE - this wasn;t happening before.

I'd appreciate any advice.

My Advice, stop using IE and install FireFox
You'll have a lot less problems.
