Artful: landlord since 2000Yes. And assuming he does serve a valid S21 via a dorm 6a (many S21s are not valid), when it expires after 2 months you still need not leave. The tenancy still continues until a court ends it.S21 checklist (Is a S21 valid?)

As per the previous posts - check that the S21 has been issued correctly (check GMs post on the top of the forums).
Politely tell the landlord you’ll leave when you’re ready to move into the property you are purchasing.
Unless of course, you’ve already stated to the LL that’ll you’ll leave by xx/xx/xxxx2006 LBM £28,000+ in debt.
