Should I switch?

I got moved to Shell from Green when they folder. Obviously I understand the prices are going up and up.
The latest communication from Shell was this:
£1,508 - Your current tariff: Flexible 6 Direct Debit ebill
£2,382 - Your new tariff: Flexible 7
So that will be about £200 a month.
I just did a search with Utility Warehouse and they gave me a bundle which is £174 fixed until Feb 2023
Should I be switching to that? It seems like the obvious move to me...

Hi,remember that 'fixed' just means tariff and standing charge, the more you use the more you pay, not a free buffet where you just load your plate.0

I think Utility Warehouse require you to pay for other services as well as just energy? You need to consider total costs.
Is your comparison based on a representative estimate of your energy use in kWh?0 -
What are the rates on that Utility Warehouse tariff? And did you give them the same estimated annual consumption figures that Shell used when calculating their Flexible 6/7 prices?007jumanji said:I got moved to Shell from Green when they folder. Actually I just compared the unit rates and they are exactly the same so not much point in doing this! I think the estimate usage must have been set lower.
