I have been listening to Martin’s advice about whether to fix or not, if you see a deal which is around 75% more than what you are paying now or 15% after the April price rises then it’s worth considering- but how do you work out these sorts of percentages?

Just work out the annual cost. If you're paying £1,000 per year and the new figure would be £1,150 then the increase is 15%.To work out the annual cost, multiply the rate per kWh by your annual consumption in kWh derived from actual meter readings, then add 365 times the daily charge.0
