Morning everyone
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Still dark,- rain forecast every day this week - it's damp underfoot - rain forecast later.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and brekkie whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Dinner last night was crispy breaded chicken strips with pasta in a creamy tomato sauce. Tonight will be something quick and easy.
Plumber is coming today to have a look at the leak in the bathroom. Hoping it can be sorted.
Keep safe and well x

Morning All
Dry this morning although I think there has been some overnight rain.Washing on the pulley and the DW has just finished doing it's thing.
Have a good trip Gers, enjoy the time with your family.
Your place seems to be falling apart Ruby, hope you start your new venture soon.
Hoping Mr F is well Florence.
Didn't get to post yesterday, time ran away with me. I had been out for a 2 hour walk with a friend and her dog on Wednesday night and slept in!
I'm collecting the little one on my way home today for a sleepover so Mum and Dad can have some time together, I think they are going for a meal to spend a voucher they were given at Christmas. I'll go shopping with her on the way back, not sure what I have in for her to eat for tea.
Wishing everyone a great Friday, take care. XX14 -
Morning folks and thanks NMLC. All seems calm outside. No wind and no rain. Yesterday was gloomy all day with non-stop mizzle.
I'm up and at 'em early this morning. The two girlies are still fast asleep but will need rousing shortly. DD is picking them up for school and picking me up also so it's likely to be mayhem while we get ready and have brekkie. DD and I are having a shopping day at the nearest retail park and fitting in a trip into the Company Shop at the same time. I still haven't a lot of room in the freezers but any good bargains will get rammed in somewhere! With food prices on the up at a rate of knots every bargain helps. And talking of shopping ROSY I hope your missing groceries turned up. I had a Tesco delivery yesterday and it said no bread available! So not even subbed. Weird!
Each day I hope for a miracle when I put the news on but I fear I am clutching at straws. Have as good a day as you can folks and ((HUGS)) for all in need of them. GERS safe journey tomorrow and enjoy your time in Berlin. Take care one and all and be safe xx.

Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.It's raining here, as forecast, doesn't seem bitterly cold though.I didn't post either yesterday, we had dgs, though I don't get him until 9am. I seemed to be in a bit of a rush beforehand.Camelot hope you have a nice time with your little dgd, she'll keep you busy I'm sure.We are having Dgd's little spaniel as a weekend guest - they are going down south to pick up a new car early tomorrow, and won't be back till late. The dog is staying here, and the children with other (younger!) relatives. We'll take the dog home on Sunday morning. There's just general housework to do today, and 2-3 friends round tonight. Our Friday meet up has been postponed for a couple of weeks for various reasons, but should go ahead tonight.Gers, you will be looking forward to your trip tomorrow, will be thinking of you.Hope everyone has a good day, take care folks.15

Hi everyone. Thanks for the start nmlc and hope the plumber can fix the problem.
Gers – enjoy your trip away x
TA – don’t blame you stocking up if the prices are good.
We went to see The Duke last night – good film, and around 8 of us in the largest screen at our cinema – only 4 of us on Wednesday night for Cyrano. We have a monthly unlimited pass for £12.99 (soon to be £14.99) so don’t know how they make any money really.
Today is my last work day for a week as I’m off to Cyprus to see my DDad on Sunday. He is making good progress after many health issues last year. DH is out tonight so I will start packing the many items received from the big river shop to take out there. My capsule wardrobe will be in my hand luggage at this rate.
Donated a big bag to charity yesterday and also made a donation to the DEC for Ukraine. Just wish I could do more.
Have a good day all and hugs to all those with health or life worries, you are not alone.

Scarlet - you'll be having a bouncy energetic time with you doggy house guest.Coxy - I hope you have a good trip and have a fab time with your Dad.
Taff - 🤞 for getting your car back. This morning I'm aiming for the 10.15 showing of The Duke, the run will be finished by the time I get back here. Then I've a few more tasks to do, making the most of being in the big city. 😀
Hugs to all our poorlies. Happy Friday to all.15 -

Day off todaybliss ! slept in till 7.30 so feel well rested. I have booked my MOT in for Monday so I feel less of a criminal now and please can I get off the naughty step ?? its chafing a bit now
the garage man said he would phone if he had a cancelation so fingers crossed it might even be sooner !
Will get the dogs out this morning and I have to do a click and collect shop for tomorrow but I intend to have a nana nap this afternoon.
Meatballs for dinner might do them with rice as OH is not keen on pasta, there is a wash on atm but it will have to dry inside as its drizzly rain here.

Hi everyone,
Gers, enjoy your trip and you too Coxy, bring us a bit of sunshine back.
February and March are our busy birthday months. We've had Steve and Laura's and today is Crystal's with mine on St Patrick's Day. Chris and Crystal are going to Blickling Hall for the day so we might just pop over with her presents and leave them. Tomorrow they go to the zoo with her family, something they have done since she was a small child, whatever the weather!
We might have Brian and Esben coming up to collect their washing, Laura is at college. If not we'll take it back tomorrow.
Other than that and some cleaning there is not a lot on.
Oh I nearly forgot, Steve's endoscopy was fine, just a bit of inflammation causing the reflux, we would have been surprised if it had shown anything else.
Have a good day.14
