Im hoping I’m putting this in the correct place? 

Im after some advice really, around 6 weeks ago I was involved in a car accident where the car I was a passenger in was shunted from behind, this came with some force and driver accepted all responsibility. Ever since then I’ve been in immense pain with shoulder, back and neck and after a medical was told it’s whiplash. So getting to the point I was offered compensation from the drivers insurance but unsure whether it’s a standard rate for whiplash

Post May 2021, tariffs for whiplash claims have been limited by statute. 

The £895 will cover a whiplash type injury with a prognosis period of around 6-9 months.

Do you want to go to the hassle of being seen by a medical expert who will give a firmer prognosis?

I had to see a medical expert for the claim, she wrote her report which was sent to the claims department
