Avro to octopus
Hi I was an Avro customer who transferred to Octopus. I have submitted 3 readings since then and my recent statement tells me I am £8.23 in credit.
However this is my new quote which seems to be based on estimated annual usage. Currently I pay 1,356 a year which I know is low but I am not in debt....
Can anyone help me understand what is happening here? Many thanks

That looks like a fixed rate quote probably the 'Loyal' tariff. If you have a good idea what your actual annual use is, then use the rates quoted there to do your own calculation on your annual cost. The Standard Variable tariff will be cheaper than that up to October though, so you can stay on that, you don't have to fix if you don't want to....1
