Suspectd TIA - or not !

Has anyone had a definitive answer from medical source or DVLA please? Family member had a suspected TIA last week - although the A&E Doctor said she did not believe it was a TIA but would refer her (on her request) to the TIA clinic.
Whether it is sensible to drive is another matter - but would it be illegal for her to drive? It certainly is for one month following a TIA but what about a suspected one when the only person who suspect it was a TIA is the patient?!

Cannot drive until your doc says you can and that must be at least 1 month after. On the basis they are going to tell people they've had a TIA they should probably follow the guidance for someone that has had one. Assuming it is only one then no need to inform the DVLA according to https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/965900/MIS828_interactive_020321_Final.pdf0 -
I had a SUSPECTED TIA in 2016 ,the specialist at the hospital said it was impossible to confirm but checked things like blood pressure ,blocked arteries etc ,put me on blood pressure tablets ( was very high and never checked ) recommended not driving for a month just in case ,been ok since ,still drive ,the only thing it costs more for travel insurance as i always declare it.0

I had a suspected Tia about 14 years ago, was told to go to hospital but not to driver there.
My symptoms were I was talking to my mum on the phone and I could understand her but I was talking gibberish.
My girlfriend was looking at me like I’d lost my mind.
Had the scan but it was inconclusive.
Went back to work driving 2 days later.0 -
Thank you for your responses. I spoke further with her and the doctor actually said to her just carry on as normal and I'll refer you to the TIA clinic if you want ... so she evidently has not diagnosed either an actual or suspected TIA.0
