External Insulation - Would it be worth it?

Afternoon all,

Just a quick one here, pic below is the rear of my house:




As you can see, there is only the 1st floor with any 'footspace' of wall due to the conservatory taking up the entire ground floor wall. Would it be worth getting this area insulated, or is the cost just too high at the moment to get any real benefit given the small area?

    Detailing around the windows, roof line, and conservatory are all going to be problematic. Once you've added in the cost of scaffolding, it is going to be an expensive job for little gain - Are they cavity walls, or solid brick/stone ?
    You may be better off insulating internally and doing one room at a time as you redecorate.

    Cavity walls.

    But I agree with what you say, for the (probably) large outlay, not sure the savings in heating bills would be worth it

    You're best investment will be insulating the roof of the conservatory and checking you have a decent amount of loft insulation laid.
