Hi im quite shocked, i have just recieved a letter from e.on about the price rise in april i knew it was coming as we all do but what i was not expecting was how much they have risen the daily service charge that we pay on prepay metres. The current service charge/daily charge for electric prepay is 0.30p a day but i have now been told that as of april the new change is going to be 53p a day i can understand the fuel price rise but can they really up the service change like this i thought there was a cap on what they could charge customers can anyone offer me advice on this PLEASE. Im already struggling have not used any heating since jan 1st i just dont know what to do. Thankyou

It's not just E.ON, it's every supplier - and it's every supplier because that's how Ofgem has chosen to share the costs (of running the network and of the recent supplier failures) between us all.
