The only thing I'd consider is that if you have an older prepay meter which uses a key, rather than a smart meter, you could delay the arrival of the new tariff rates by adding a large amount of credit before the price goes up...Otherwise, yes it should be cheaper to move to DD.

I've been trying to change since I bought the property in July, Eon won't change the meter to a credit meter, apparently there's a long wait to get it done! Sounds like an excuse to me. I can't even change providers so am completely stuck.
