Amazon/DPD

Ok so I ordered a item off Amazon and they used dpd to deliver it. DPD have a picture of delivery made with a door open but it wasn’t delivered to me or my house. Where do I stand. If I contact amazon do they replace or refund or do I have to wait weeks while they investigate. I used my credit card to pay so that’s my last step if they don’t sort it out.. what’s the best way to deal with this situation..

Report the parcel as undelivered... Amazon tends to go for extremes, if you've a decent record and good history then they refund it straight away. If you're new or report a lot of problems etc then they will challenge you more if you report another item as undelivered.

Send them a picture of your door and the picture of the open door to show they're not the same.   Might help.  (probably won't, but worth a try)

I would contact both Amazon & DPD. 

I’ve had a lot of issues with DPD so I’ve signed up to their app which they seem really proud of. It allows you to add a photo of your house (which sounds silly, like they need to know what your house looks like to find it ) but in my case it’s a godsend because I live in a location that has different areas with similar names within it. They’ve also recently introduced the ability to add your unique “what three words” for your address. The cynic in me can’t help thinking that DPD need all the help they can get to deliver parcels properly  Next I’ll be lighting a beacon fire on the roof!
