Santander switch

Just reading the latest guide on switching accounts and I noticed you appear to be able to switch to the Santander 123 Lite account even if you already have an account with them. Is this correct? I've got a full-fat 123 account which I was thinking of getting rid of anyway, but I am also planning on switching my Barclays account since they neutered Blue Rewards, so could I switch my Barclays to a 123-Lite, then my existing 123 account to say First Direct? It seems odd that they'd allow you two so similar accounts, never mind give cashback for opening the second one.

I'm pretty sure I've not had cashback from Santander before, however as the account has been open probably 10 years I can't actually recall if there was an offer when it was opened.
