Are these generally the cheapest way to go or is it worth investigating separate companies for gas and electric?

    It was often cheaper to have separate suppliers but there don't seem to be many worthwhile fixed tariffs at the moment so it's a bit academic.  Everyone's capped SVT is much the same at the moment, but do the sums and see what works for you.
