Scottish power won't update my meter
I have a smart meter installed by bulb . I'm now with Scottish power and use a IHD . Problem is the rates are set on my meter as 00.10p per kWh and 10p standing charge .
So the info I'm seeing on my IHD is not correct as it talks to my meter and picks up incorrect rates . Ive asked Scottish power several times to update my meter and they keep saying it's my IHD at fault wait 24 hours etc etc . Obviously it's not fixing it as my meter is still wrong .
They keep telling me my smart meter is correct despite me sending them pictures showing it's not . I have a SMETS2 meter so if they can talk to it to get a reading why can't they update it??
I've even told them if they think my meter is right then I should be charged 10p too and I want a refund . Very frustrating

Does your IHD show Scottish Power as your energy provider?
I hadn't realised that meters (as distinct from IHDs) had prices stored on them.0 -
Yes, they do (or at least, mine does). That's where the IHD gets its info.Ultrasonic said:I hadn't realised that meters (as distinct from IHDs) had prices stored on them.
