Eon Next - cannot have smart meter because accounts are not linked

  • I have the same problem, but my meters are next to each other outside. I get letters and messages from eon-next saying they are ready to fit my gas smart meter, even offering gifts, but when I contact them they cant do the istallation because I have separate accounts for gas and electricity. They fitted my electricity smart meter though. I was wondering if I went to another to another company whether there would still be the same issue.
