With a six minute overstay a claim is likely to annoy a judge if they are daft enough to try, read this.and complain to your MP.

Slight correction here, my friend who also got a ticket sent me a picture of the sign (in daylight)- max stay is 3 hours 06:00 - 21;30 after which it's only 10 minutes

If the lease firm have stated you were the hirer/lessee (make sure they gave your correct postal address!) then wait for your own NTH to come through with no attachments, then use Edna Basher's special NTH appeal from the NEWBIES first post.

    Hi Le Kirk,

The site is File Dropper, which is genuine: https://www.filedropper.com

I've refreshed the link (previous one had an expiry limit)

Filedropper gives me the option of downloading a file to my computer.

I really don't want to do that.

Same advice as I already gave; if that's the one sent to the company then they need to name you as the hirer/lessee so you can use the Edna Basher appeal I mentioned.

Or will the company let you do the appeal in their name, in which case the 'ABC company' version of Edna Basher's linked appeals is used.

See NEWBIES thread section on lease/hire cars.

Quick question, I'm about to respond with one of Edna's templates, is it worth including evidence of the unlit signage on the initial appeal via the Euro Car Parks website, or should this be left to the POPLA stage?

You can do, but it will have no effect. Keep that bit of powder dry for POPLA. Are you using the Edna Basher's template as the hirer (NtH addressed personally to you), or acting on behalf of your company in their name - as per @Coupon-mad's question above.

Be aware, there's no hybrid mix 'n match with dealing with this, it's either as the personally named hirer or officially as the company.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
