Sixth Anniversary Combo Breaker
Hi, I have an empty flat that I’m moving back into. The energy supplier there is eon. It’s currently on Next Flex. I’m so confused by which deal is best and whether I should change deal or not.

According to Eon their cheapest tariff is to stay on Next Flex, this has rates as follows:
Elec unit 29.8, standing 54.12
Gas unit 7.84, standing 32.03

The v11 1yr fix that Martin recommended this morning is no longer available but they offer v7 1yr fix. The rates for this one are:
Elec unit 44.38, standing 51.22
Gas unit 14.16, standing 26.17

What does Next flex even mean? I assume it’s variable so does that mean they can change the unit rates at any time? I also don’t understand how these rates are higher than the price cap unit rates?

please help with any advice, thanks.
