Packlink Audited weight charge?

Hi I have received an email today stating a parcel I sent by hermes via packlink , was 1.15kg and the limit I paid for was 1kg and they want me to pay extra.
I know the parcel weighed less than 1kg when I sent it but I dont have any proof, does anyone have any experience of disputing the charge and winning or do I just need to take the hit and pay it?
Any help or advice appreciated!
Thanks Kitty x

Ask them for proof it was over, they won't have it.
I wouldn't pay, do Packlink have any payment method available to bill you for the charges without your consent? In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces2 -
I have disputed one which came 5 weeks after the parcel was delivered.
I asked the buyer to please repackage and take a photo on the scales. He did and I sent this as evidence and won the claim. I also sent a listing number and they could see it was a small item.
Another time a seller has requested the same from me where it was obviously a mistake. I sent a photo with measurements and hoped they won

I had similar experience with Packlink taking money straight from my account through PayPal without even offering me to dispute it. I opened an Item/Service not received case in PayPal and won after 2-3 weeks and PayPal refunded me the money they took. They didn't even bother to respond to my PayPal case so it looks like a lot of times they try and if they get through with it or not it's still a gain for them.

I recieved one yesterday asking for £1.45+VAT to upgrade a 1KG parcel to 2KG, however, as I must have sent 50 parcels over the last few months which have all arrived without fail and on time, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and just paid, especially as they don't add on any processing fees or the like.
They do say if you dispute you should provide photos of the dimenstions and weights, so the onus is on the customer, so I may do this in future, but at an average of 3p per parcel, I probably won't bother unless it happens again.• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.0 -
