Also make sure you're charged at the rates that then applied, not the sky high ones from later on.
Well, if it turns out they're owed money rather than having to pay a debt I might not fight that particular error too hard...
Yup, that could be interpreted incorrectly so I've clarified it.

I've recently realised that me and my other half have been putting in meter readings differently because I've been following the advice by Ovo - which is the opposite of what everyone else is saying! we used to be with Ovo so naturally I just followed their lead. My other half couldn't remember and so looked up the info online and has been doing what she found out ever since!  First pic is of Ovo's instructions and second is from the M and S energy. Now that I look online further I see that Ovo have  the wrong info!

So I can see why a few people might have their readings the wrong way round. website.

Those Secure Liberty meters are a right pain from the offset.
The instruction we had from their first installation was, for single rate press 9 (except for UW when we did them, she it was 6 four times).
In our region we always use R1 for day/peak unless the times are printed on the meter.
This is the same for most of the country except for a few areas where it is opposite.

Why the heck meters and rates etc aren't standardized nationwide, would make life so much easier
