Accident repair credit agreement
I am insured with Admiral and recently submitted what I consider to be a no fault on my part claim, my case has now been passed to a third party Auxillis to deal with the claim even though the other party has not been spoken to yet and Auxillis want me to sign up to a accident repair credit agreement at no cost to myself apparently in the eventuality that not all repair costs are recovered from the other drivers insurer, has anybody else been through this process is there an alternative ?? Or is this the norm now ??

Its the norm with Admiral and fairly common with brokers, most direct insurers will deal with the repairs themselves but may sell pass your details to a credit hire company if there is any discussion on needing a replacement car etc.
Your two alternatives are to claim off your own insurance instead or approach the third party insurers to see if they'll deal directly.1
