Time to issue a possession order (s21)

Does anyone have knowledge/experience with how long the courts are currently taking to issue s21 possession orders? I'm trying to estimate how long I could reasonably ask the landlord to stay in the property past a s21 two month notice period. I live in south-east London.

Rumoured to be about 44 weeks. If s21 valid (many are not).

An s21 is not a possession order.  It does not, even if valid, end a tenancy nor compel tenant to leave.

Check s21 against checklist.  Google "nearly legal section 21".is this for a private Landlord?

    Best wishes

I read this the other way as a the OP is a tenant considering the likelihood of court proceedings progressing and how much time they may be able to buy.

If you have no current alternative accommodation then I expect you may be able to stretch this out for a long time before it even gets to court. You have quite a strong bargaining position.

    Thanks for your responses.

Yes, to be clear, I'm a tenant.
