So from what you appear to be saying its not really providing anything more than my Geo Trio II IHD 'should' provide, as that has the CAD / WiFi module, other than the interaction with SmartThings. Unfortunately mine being a BG version rather than the bog standard Geo version doesn't have the necessary option in the menu to connect to Geo's own app which is an annoyance.It is supposed to connect to the Energy Usage section in the BG app but that always seems to be down due to technical issues and the odd time it does connect and I can see the 'speedometer' live energy dial it doesn't seem to update when appliances are switched on or off (plus shows the daily/weekly/monthly totals as a figure that is a factor of 100x too low as does the IHD (although maybe thats not a surprise as its presumably just reflecting the IHD), eg 9.25kWh is shown as 0.009kWh, when it actually deigns to show that data which isn't often.0 -

Unfortunately mine being a BG version rather than the bog standard Geo version doesn't have the necessary option in the menu to connect to Geo's own app which is an annoyance.Not much more from the looks of it, there seems to be a temperature display for its location but that is hardly exciting.It really is just the ability to use the SmartThings app legitimately (you can use the Bulb integration if you have a CAD even if not a Bulb customer, but it isn't a great solution).Some might find that to be sufficient to justify buying it, or if yours is broken/lost then buying this one might be a good solution, but I'd take a look at the Hildebrand alternative first.Personally I am still waiting for a solution that doesn't leave me dependent on a cloud app run by a 3rd party as I'd much prefer to remain in control of my own data storage locally, having been bitten in the past by Owl Intuition.1
