Replacement kitchen wall extractor/Vectaire AMF100

Our Vectaire AMF100 has become intolerably noisy after I cleaned the inside :'( . It's done 22 years solid service, which must be a great recommendation itself, but it usually takes several hours to remove kitchen smells.

I see that the Vectaire AMF100 is still available but is there now a superior wall extractor fan that can be fitted without any changes to the wiring or the aperture in the kitchen wall?

The existing fan is set into one of our unused chimneys (House is 1908C).

Any advice much appreciated.

John

How much is the new one ? might be time to replace and hopefully get another 22 years of trouble free extraction  :)

it's only 30l/s that might be why it takes a long time to clear the air.
could be down to the ductwork, or lack of it, if it's venting into an open chimney that could be a problem.
cooker hoods are about 5 times more powerful if you can get one of them in there?
