    See if you can bring forward your direct debits by a day or two to ensure they are collected before the 27th.
    If that was aimed at OP, they already addressed that yesterday:
    I'm not questioning the DD's as they go out in plenty of time before my statement period. I'm asking about the £500 funding requirement?

    Happened to me last month and I contacted Santander.
    I got them to move my statement date to the middle of the month, which was easy to do for them.
    My DDs go out at the start of the month, so now I have ~2 weeks between them.
