Rate change - no communication?

I'm on E.on's E.ON EnergyPlan variable tariff. I'm looking into switching to their fixed 1 year (V11) tariff Martin has been advising about today, but I haven't had any communications about our rate changing so it's tricky to know if it will actually be cheaper. Does anyone know if E.On should/can let us know about the rate change at was % increase that will be?

They would typically let you know around now about the rate change, or you can go onto your online account where it is visible. If you are on a variable rate then it will definitely increase come 1st April.It's now the 1st March so the V11 has now been withdrawn from sale. The option now is V12 which has increased rates.0
