Worries about moving and grade II

After two years of searching and getting no luck as covid sent prices rocketing and supply was non existent we may be in with a chance on a property....but .
It is grade two listed and needs a lot of work.
We have conservation area experience but not listed.
Also this is a slightly different path to what we thought house wise as it wouldn't be house and business, it would be house renovation..
For some reason I am yo-yoing between excitement and absolute anxiety and fear. And we haven't even got going on it yet....I am not sure if it is because we had abandoned moving or if it is because it is grade listed or both.
It's an opportunity too good to miss but it also would be the biggest life change to date with immense strain but if successful life changing rewards.
Anyone else had this yo yo affect whilst at offer stage? Or maybe on a listed purchase?
Thank you

Glad to hear it, wishing you every happiness there. Do find trades people who understand heritage buildings. We had an amazing listed Grade II, we loved it, it had so much character and space. Unfortunately when my husband died I was unable to fund the maintenance and sadly had to sell.£216 saved 24 October 20140

Yes maybe I need to chill out, it is huge! And for us is a move to a new area and a change for one of us work wise. Need to cut myself some slack. Two years in the making and we may finally be on our way 😮0
