We've both successfully applied for M Plus Savings accounts using this link (as existing YB Current Account Direct customers whose accounts were migrated to M Plus Current Accounts some time ago...sounds like the same situation as @moneyfoolish).When I try to use that link it takes me to apply for an M Plus Current account and an M Plus Savings account even though I already have an M Plus Joint Current account with my wife which was previously a Yorkshire Bank joint account.I can't see how we can just apply for an M Plus Savings Joint account. Also does anybody know if I can also apply for another M Plus Current Account and an M Plus Savings account for myself if I already have an M Plus Joint Current account?
When I click that button it takes me to a log in page, from where the application process for just the savings account starts.
Not sure why (at least) three of us have successfully managed to apply that way but you're struggling?

If you click on it the next page asks you to log in to your account (via the VM site, not the old YB/CB one). Are you already logged in? You might need to log out (and possibly clear cookies) before the link will work properly.1 -

Guess I will still have to wait at least a year and a half before I can get a chequebook; from anyone!0 -

It seems to be working for me now but do you (or anybody else) know whether my wife and I can also open individual M Plus Current accounts and M Plus Savings accounts in addition to our joint accounts?
