Anyone else have a Credit Karma issue?

Received an update on the weekend, checked the report and credit info was completely missing, other info was out of date etc. It's as if their api wasn't working anymore.
Just checking if anyone else noticed anything similar. If not I will have to complain with TransUnion and that's always an ordeal.

Why not complain anyway? The system obviously needs sorting whether you are the only person noticing or not. It isn't really an ordeal to contact TransUnion, I've done it in the past.
If there's a problem, then they need to know - they're quick to let consumers know if there's a problem with their credit file!
If they are holding information about you (and your credit file) that's incorrect, they should be told. Whether it's the same for anyone else or not.
To be honest, I've stopped looking at credit reports. Wherever they originate. I know many people who aren't even aware that credit report agencies exist and they manage to live a full and healthy life. Sometimes the reports, even when correct, can make people lose the will to live. Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. Although I do carry out careful research before posting and never intend to mislead or supply out-of-date or incorrect information, please do not rely 100% on what you are reading. Verify everything in order to protect yourself as you are responsible for any action you consequently take.1 -
Thanks, you have a bunch of valid points. I double checked as I assumed it was a glitch with what CreditKarma was showing, but the data disappeared off TransUnion as well so I raised a complaint.
The whole credit report nonsense is probably my biggest culture shock coming to the UK, as I indeed lived a fulfilling and healthy life without it and with a mortgage, but if I want to be able to get one here I fear it's a necessary evil.0 -

Credit reference agencies are common through the world - Experian work directly in 37 countries, providing data to clients in over 100 countries0 -
Update on this: Experian now shows me a score of 999 and CreditKarma/TransUnion are still not showing the items that have the biggest positive impact on a score: my credit cards and the perfect payment record... it is really irritating as I rate as 'fair' for this reason.0

Stop obsessing over your score and file.0 -
There's no need to worry about the numerical score - lenders don't see this and it isn't used in any lending decisions. What lenders DO see is the data - so if you are unable to see it in your files, then lenders may also have the same issues, which may cause issues if/when you apply for credit down the road.
A formal complaint and/or a GDPR request for your "statutory credit report" is likely to be the way forward here. Legally you have a right to request your information, so there's a problem is they are unable to provide it to you when requested and as such something needs to be sorted.0
