Can my LG OLED screen be saved..?

Hi

LG55LV340C

I've had my TV for 6 years, outside warranty.

All of a sudden this appeared.

Is there any TV electronic experts who can visually see what fault is and how much for repairs? It's not a physical crack / line on the screen.

Thanks

Its an LED screen not OLED

What happens if you turn it on?

Many screens are complete units, with some the front glass is separate. You'd need to price up how much a new screen is.

It used to be common for people to have commercial plasma screens in their AV systems but haven't heard of anyone using a commercial screen for their home TV in some time.

Looks like the panel has cracked underneath the glass. (well probably plastic sice it's not a phone).

Cheaper to buy a new and better one. Enjoy the 4K coming to you!

Get rid of it....I wouldn't think that is economically repairable or even repairable at all.
Doesn't look like the sort of damage that 'just appears'. Looks more like it's had some pressure on it.
