Gas account not transferred from PFP to British Gas

Has everyone else who got moved from PFP to British Gas had both the gas and electricity accounts transferred? We had dual fuel with PFP but only the electric bill gas been moved over. I've been in touch with BG and all they say is that I should have received a contract for both energy supplies. I've asked if they can tell me how much I owe for gas since September and they can't. I'm getting quite worried about a huge bill landing soon, I'm putting money aside but I've no idea if it's enough!

I'm having the exact same issue. I phoned today and was effectively fobbed off saying the account still wasn't set up. Think it's been like 6 months since pfp went under, surely that is long enough to set up a new account? I'm expecting an enormous bill when they finally sort it out. I assume you haven't gotten any further?

The bill will be exactly the same if they would have set up the account.

I assume you are referring to the fact that you did not pay a direct debit for your gas? Did you put aside the money that you would have had to pay to BG?
