Eon account error but moved to eon next

My daughter's elec bill was estimated for 6 months due to reading given by estate agents from faulty smart meter (was 62.7 end of march 2021, this Saturday was 186).   
Been trying to sort out (as they estimated for the first 6 months daily use was £1.70, but first 'actual' reading end of September was an average of 0.96p per day, for a small 1 bed flat, and she was sending her washing to us to do.
Every time she rang eon to give me consent they made it impossible for her to do, and now if ring on any eon number it gets re-directed to eon next who state they can not help as the bill was with eon. Can not find a phone number which is not automated at eon, so it can be sorted.
As a note she is a care worker which means she has been doing a 15 hour day, and because of the large amount they say she owes have only put her elec heating on for a hour every couple of days on her days off.
