Hi
I am sure this has been posted many times.
But my gas and electric has increased to £300+ a month from £92 .
Should I stick now with a new supplier at £332 . £80 exit fees or wait till April ?
I am with outfox the market at present .
There fixed is around £500 so I am with the variable tariff .
6044 electric
20448 gas

Think tariffs and usage in kWh/year not payments. The money you pay each month is money on account from which actually charges for energy used are deducted. All that said, you are asking an almost impossible question. The only comment that I would offer is that fixed tariffs give you price certainty; however, a fixed tariff with no exit fees gives you certainty and flexibility (if you can find a supplier that will offer it to you).0

As you have said - lots of times . The general response is do not go for a fix and just continue with your variable.
You do realise that you are a high user don't you ? Time for some economy measures pershaps ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -

We moved back with my family and built a exstention so there's 5 adults and a baby .
But also my other 4 kids here most weekends .
So it's pretty much two households .
The original idea was to go for the unlimited usage that was previously being offered but by the time the exstention was completed they had stopped offering this .
We have done most energy saving that we can .
Parents retired and like there heating which I won't begrudge them0
