Italy travel - PCR for kids?

Hello,
UK resident/citizen here.
The rules seem a bit confusing. Me & partner (both triple vacc) are travelling with a 7 year old child. Do 7 year olds need a PCR or a LFT prior to arriving Italy?
If it's the LFT, then can we do the LFT that we are given for free or do we use a paid service?
Regards,
I am relationship expert. Don't feel shy, say hello.

Children aged 6 to 17 must show evidence of a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours before entering Italy or a negative rapid lateral flow test taken within the 24 hours before entering Italy.
(NHS have never been able to be used for travel, need private paid test)0 -
All travellers, aged 6 and over, must show evidence of a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours before entering Italy or a negative rapid lateral flow test taken within the 24 hours before entering Italy. As another poster has already said these must be paid for tests. NHS tests cannot be used for the purpose of testing before international travel.0
