Can anyone tell me how to go about small claims court I have been back to place I've purchased something from and complained with no joy I've sent them a letter informing them I'm taking it further to small claims court which I believe I had to do both of these before I take it further what do I need to do next thanks

When you sent your "Letter Before Action" did you get proof of postage? Did you give a clear and reasonable date by when you expected a response? If not, send another as they could claim you didn't send anything.
What exactly is the issue with the car? When was it purchased? How much was it? What exactly have they said? WHO was it purchased from? (a garage/business or private seller).Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
