I've just had 3 spam emails from "moneysavingexpert-diageo" with Martin Lewis as the sender offering a 7.45% coupon. What's puzzling is the company address looks legit and is in London, although that could be to try and make the email look authentic.
The last email has this at the bottom.
"For questions about this list, please contact: mse.m****************@gmail.com"
I didn't know ML used gmail for his mailing lists!

Report them to ActionFraud, and if there's a company name, report them to the FCA as well.2

The company address given on the email could very well be legit, but how does the email ask you to reply to them?Martin81162 said:I've just had 3 spam emails from "moneysavingexpert-diageo" with Martin Lewis as the sender offering a 7.45% coupon. I doubt it is via the post as I very much doubt that the company has had anything to do with the production of the email.1 -
It says the company is MoneySavingExpert... probably not worth reporting it to the FCADaliah said:Report them to ActionFraud, and if there's a company name, report them to the FCA as well.0 -
It is most unlikely that the company the money is to be sent to would be called MoneySavingExpertSandtree said:

I received the same 7.45% Diageo Bond offer from martinlewis@moneysavingexpert-diageo.com
Plus several follow up calls from one James McGregor, claiming to be from Merrill/Bank of America.
Email: info@ml-wealth-management.com
Telephone: 020 7117 2552
Am just stringing him along now until he's (hopefully) apprehended by the police.
There was actually a Diageo bond offer that Merrill Lynch International was a broker for.
But it was in 2019, and not at 7.45%
There is also a 7.45% Diageo Bond on C Bonds:
But nothing to do with MSE or Merrill.2
